The Crown Inn

Simply excellent. The staff is very friendly, the owner is a splendid gentlemen and on top, an truly excellent chef, the rooms are comfortable and foreseen of all creature comforts one could which for. It's an absolute certainty we'll go back to the Crown Inn whenever we are in the region !

First class restaurant and service. Staff always kind, helpful and welcoming. Homely atmosphere. Very comfortable and warm room with ultra modern bathroom. Extra clean. Nice touches such as availability of gluten free cereal and bread plus alcohol free beer and wine. Set in a charming, historic village.

Beautiful location, close to Peterborough. Fantastic country pub with friendly and efficient staff and excellent food. The rooms are amazing and the local area is stunning in parts.

Location was great. Room was stylishly decorated and bed comfy. Liked having a nightlight and thought the flapjack and fresh milk were a nice touch.

The room was very good: spacious, modern, well decorated, in excellent condition, the bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom was great and the room came with its own private garden. One of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. There was lots of parking. The breakfast was also very good. I stayed only one night prior to visiting Burghley the next day. I hope to return in the future.
